Selected boards may be rebuilt into individually numbered customs using compatible switches, keycaps, stabilizer work, acoustic tuning, and visual themes.

  • Photos show the actual unit being sold
  • Once sold, that exact configuration is gone
DONOR + PARTS RECOVERY

Not every board should be forced back to life.

If repair is uneconomical or unreliable, usable compatible parts may be retained for testing or future repairs instead of the board being misrepresented as refurbished.

  • No “fixed” listing unless the finished unit passes QC
  • Dead or questionable components are not reused as known-good parts
  • Major board-level repairs are disclosed
  • Third-party brands remain their original manufacturers

Inspect

Identify the exact model, visible damage, missing components, corrosion, connectivity issues, and previous modification attempts.

Diagnose + repair

Test the cable path, USB daughterboard or connector, internal cables, PCB, switches or sockets, firmware, and other likely failure points before replacing parts.

Rebuild + clean

Restore the board or turn it into a one-off using only compatible parts and board-appropriate tuning.

QC + disclose

Test every key and supported connection, document the actual condition, and list the work performed before the keyboard goes up for sale.
